hats a go-go

this nifty little hat only took a few hours to make and it's just so cute. another bonus is that this yarn has been in my stash for almost three years. there is plenty left and there are lots of babies to knit for, so i will make a few more. next time i will write down the pattern and post it here and to the knitlist gift exchange.

i went to school products a few weeks ago and i picked up some kureyon to make hats. unfortunately, i just looked at the color and lot numbers but not closely at the yarn and the two balls are totally different. so now, i have a hat that mostly finished but i can't complete until i get another ball that matches a little better. but here is a sneak peek. that's all for now.

ipod cover completed

did i mention that i have somehow misplaced my digital camera and have been relegated to documenting my knitted works with my cell phone? well it's not exactly working out but it's the best i could do for the moment. besides i wanted to show you how productive i have been.

i have been trying to do some stash only knitting before i allow myself to get anything new and i have been quite succesful. today, while waiting to see the emergency dentist to get my wisdom teeth extracted (still no dice, i have to go back next week) i started a moss stitch scarf  that will be a future christmas present.  i used the same yarn that i used for my pants.

when we came home i decided to knit my beau an ipod cover that can be seen in my finished objects folder and here is another peek . i think that i am definitely back in business...well at least on the knitting front. my use of typepad is a little rusty and i can't seem to make my crappy photos appear in the middle of my post...once i sort it out, i have even more flix of my works in progress...

I actually finished the pants while on vacation but I guess it's not the most easy to find in the photo album so i decided to put them here.

in other knitting news, dakota's wallaby is coming right along! i breezed through the pouch and i am working on the first sleeve now. i'm about to bind off my little skirt and that should be done by this weekend and with the beautiful spring weather in full blast, i may be able to wear it very soon!
